Radio.Cloud Grows with Four New US Affiliates

Since winning two Product of the Year awards at the 2022 NAB Show in late April, Radio.Cloud has added four new affiliates across the United States.

“We are onboarding new affiliates nearly every week, CEO and Founder Christian Brenner commented. “The feedback from the local stations couldn’t be better.”

The addition of KIOA 93.3 (KIOA-FM/Des Moines, IA), Sunny 95 (WSNY-FM/Columbus, OH), Z95.1 (WQMZ-FM/Charlottesville, VA) and Q99 (WSLQ-FM/Roanoke, VA) brings the US station total up to six, with five affiliates of Throwback Nation Radio on Saturday nights from 7pm-12am. Radio.Cloud’s first American user was 24/7 station Throwback 102.3 (WYET-FM/South Bend, IN), followed by weekend affiliate 101.5 K-Hits (KCCL-FM/Sacramento, CA).

“The teams at both Q99 and Saga Communications loved our content with Throwback Nation Radio, but wanted to keep their local identity of their strong brands. Radio.Cloud allows us to do just that and harness the power of great national content and connection, without having a station’s brand get lost in the shuffle. We’re so excited about these new affiliates, and the power that Radio.Cloud will bring for our other existing – and future – stations too.”

“We’re proud to partner with Throwback Nation Radio in four new markets as it continues to grow using our hyper-localizing capabilities, surpassing the limitations of traditional and satellite delivered programming,” Radio.Cloud’s Chief Strategy Officer Jim Hammond said.

“They actually can’t believe that [Throwback Nation Radio] is a network show, since every break is localized,” said Brenner.

Radio.Cloud is the industry’s first 100% native cloud-based automation, content management and production platform, and has been on-air for more than three years in Europe with 160+ affiliates. To keep up with the latest news, click here and follow along on social media.
